Trip to the sanatorium Rakhmanovskie springs – jeep tour to the villages of Berel and Uryl –
Rakhmanov Lake is a landmark of the Katon-Karagai Park, the alpine lake is surrounded by virgin forest, there is incredible nature, especially beautiful here in July. At this time, nature here is filled with an abundance of colors, flowers bloom. Lake Rakhmanovskoye is also known as Lake Yazevoye. The journey begins from the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, we head to the Katon-Karagai Park, then along the way we will cross the Bukhtarma reservoir, drive through the village of Uryl, the village of Berel, the Rakhmanov Spring sanatorium, the Joyous mountain pass, the Arasan River, the Chernaya Berel River. Along the way we will observe Mount Belukha, this mountain is incredibly beautiful, its height is 4506 meters above sea level. Tour itinerary:
Transfer: Ust-Kamenogorsk – Kaznakovskaya ferry (175 km). Arrival at Kaznakovsk ferry, waiting for the ferry.
Crossing to the opposite shore of the Bukhtarma reservoir (4 km). Further transfer: Kaznakovskaya ferry – the village of Katon Karagai (206 km). Lunch in the village of Katon Karagai.
Moving: village Katon-Karagai village – village Uryl (60 km). Stop in the village of Uryl, here you can visit shops. There will be no more shops further along our path.
Transfer: The village of Uryl – the village of Berel – the sanatorium Rakhmanov keys (50 km). Arrival at the sanatorium, accommodation in cottages, dinner, overnight.
Breakfast. A walk to the Joyful pass with a height of 2306 meters above sea level. The pass is located between the rivers Arasan and Black Berel. From the pass, far to the south, there is a picturesque panorama of the Katun ridge and Mount Belukha with a height of 4,506 meters above sea level. Only 30 kilometers in a straight line, now separates us from the Joyful pass to the top of Mount Belukha.
In good weather, you can see the highest part of the Katun ridge, which stretches in the latitudinal direction. From a bird's-eye view in the southeast, we will enjoy the view of Lake Rakhmanovskoye, which stretches from northwest to southeast in the valley of the Arasan River. Return to the sanatorium, dinner, overnight.
Breakfast. Today, by rowing boats, we will take a walk along the Rakhmanovsky Lake to the Rakhmanovsky Waterfall, which is located 2 kilometers away on the northeastern side of the lake. The waterfall has the poetic name of Veronica's Spit. In
the height of the waterfall water drop is 30 meters. We will climb to the waterfall on the right side of the river, along a path that winds between rocks and fir trees. The walking distance is about (1 + 1 = 2 km). The waterfall forms an unnamed stream, the stream originates from three small moraine lakes located in a cascade, at an altitude of 2265 meters above sea level. Lunch in a gazebo on the lake shore. Return to the sanatorium, dinner, overnight.
Breakfast. Return to Ust-Kamenogorsk. Transfer: Rakhmanovskie klyuchi – Lake Arasan (2 km). Lake walk. Further transfer: Lake Arasan – Usy Batyr waterfall on the Arasan River (2 km). Walk to the waterfall (600 + 600 = 1200 meters).
Transfer: sanatorium Rakhmanovskie klyuchi – Berel village – Uryl village (46 km). Stop in the village of Uryl, visit shops.
Transfer: the village of Uryl – the village of Katon-Karagai (60 km). Lunch at the cafe. Transfer: the village of Katon-Karagai - Kaznakovskaya ferry (206 km). Crossing to the opposite shore of the Bukhtarma reservoir (4 km).
Transfer: Kaznakovskaya ferry – Ust-Kamenogorsk (175 km). Arrival in Ust-Kamenogorsk, the end of the trip.
