What is interesting and where to go in the mountains of Almaty - 
Titov Pass is a mountain pass located at an altitude of 3630 meters above sea level in the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. The pass is very popular among fans of active recreation and hiking in the mountains as it is located on an interesting mountain route that begins before reaching the glaciological station Tuyuk-Su T1, which is reached on foot from the high-mountain station Shymbulak. 
Having reached the pass from it, you can climb Titov Peak or climb Pamyat Peak. Prepared travelers can climb two peaks at once in one day. You can also go down to the upper reaches of the Gorelnik gorge through the Titov Pass and see the famous moraine lakes of Titov. You can also continue the descent along the gorge and visit the Gorelnik waterfalls. This route through the Titov Pass is also accessible from the Gorelnik Gorge in the opposite direction. 
The pass offers a beautiful mountain panorama of the Ile-Alatau National Mountain Park of Kazakhstan. From here you can see such mountain peaks and attractions as the Soviet Peak, the Molodezhny Peak, the Big Almaty Lake, etc.

The Titov Pass is located in the upper reaches of the Small Almaty Gorge and the Gorelnik Gorge on the mountain ridge that divides the Malaya Almatinka River Valley and the Gorelnik River Valley, Medeu District, Almaty Region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
