Interesting natural attractions in the mountains of Almaty -
Medic Peak is a mountain peak located at an altitude of 3490 meters above sea level in the Zailiyskiy Alatau Mountains on a mountain range between the Small Almaty Gorge and the Gorelnik Gorge. The mountain is very popular among lovers of active recreation and hiking in the mountains.
Climbing the mountain can be done both from the Gorelnik Gorge and from the Small Almaty Gorge from the high-mountain base Shymbulak through the Gate Tuyuk-Su tract. On the way to the mountain from the Small Almaty Gorge, first climb to the Mynzhilki peak, then descend along the ridge to the Medic Peak and at the same time visit the Pribornaya mountain, which is also located on our way. Then they descend into the Gorelnik gorge and go back along a different, no less interesting route, visiting the famous Gorelnik waterfalls along the way and descending to the beginning of the gorge, where the Gorelnik hot water springs are located.
Then they descend to the Medeo tract and the valley of the Small Almaty River, where the Medeo high-mountain skating rink is located, where you can skate in winter. This route is very interesting and picturesque, covering many locations at once and two mountain gorges with beautiful natural attractions in them.

Medic Peak is located in the Ile-Alatau Mountain Park in the upper reaches of the Gorelnik and Maloye Almatinskoye mountain gorges, the Zailiysky Alatau Mountains, Medeu District, Almaty Region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
