Mountain Vechernyaya (Evening Mount) is a mountain peak located at an altitude of 3323 meters above sea level, in the Trans-Ili Alatau Mountain range. The mountain is very popular among fans of active recreation and hiking in the mountains as it is located on a picturesque mountain route that runs along the Prokhodnoye gorge through the Alma-Arasan sanatorium. The ascent to the mountain begins from the famous Terra glade, which is located in the gorge, this glade serves as a starting point for radial routes to the mountain that are nearby. The ascent to the glade takes a day, then they spend the night in the glade in front of the fire and in the morning, they go to Mount Vechernyaya.
At the top of Vechernyaya Mountain, you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of the city of Almaty, the mountain ranges of the Ile-Alatau Park and the endless expanses of the Kazakh steppes on the horizon. This place is ideal for photo shoots, picnics or just meditation in the fresh air. It is especially beautiful here in the spring, when the slopes are covered with bright flowers, and in the fall, when nature is painted in golden and crimson tones. The name of the mountain "Vechernyaya" is not accidental - it looks especially beautiful at sunset, when the sun's rays paint the mountain slopes in warm tones and shades of red and orange.
In the Prokhodnoye gorge from the Terra glade, traveling along mountain routes, you can also visit such mountain peaks and natural attractions as: Pila peak, Tourist peak, Big Almaty peak, Dzhusaly-Kezen pass where the Cosmostation is located and Wild Lake (Scotland).

Mount Vechernyaya (Evening Mount) is located in the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountains in the upper reaches of the Prokhodnoye gorge in the area of the Terra Mountain glade, Bostandyk district, Almaty region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
