Karkaraly park is the most beautiful natural landmark of the Karaganda region. Traveling through the park will take us 6 days, and we will see all the most beautiful and little-visited places in the park. Karkaraly Park is incredibly beautiful, founded in 1998 with the aim of protecting unique natural objects, developing travel and improving recreation for the population. Our journey will start in Almaty and end in Astana, this tour is combined, it is possible to change directions, the number of days and the necessary services. Traveling through the Karkaralinsky park, we will visit such sights as: the city of Karaganda, the village of Dolinka, the city of Karkaralinsk, the Tasbulak tract, Pashennoe (Pashino) lake, the Kommisarovskoye tract, Bolshoye Lake, Kent Mountains, Lake Basin, Lake Shaitankol, etc. You can also make several excursions from the city of Karkaralinsk to all the places listed above, such a program can also be easily developed for you.

Tour itinerary:
Arrival in the city of Almaty. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Rest. Breakfast. Excursion around the city, visiting: the park of 28 Panfilov's, the Cathedral, the Museum of Musical Instruments, the National Museum of Kazakhstan, the Medeo tract, Republic Square (4 hours). Lunch at a local restaurant, after lunch a lift on the cable car to Mount Kok-Tobe, a walk around the outskirts of Kok-Tobe, a bird's-eye view of Almaty. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport, departure to Karaganda, arrival. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Excursion around the city, visiting the Karaganda Regional Museum of History and Local Lore. The museum is the largest museum in the region.
The museum was opened in November 1932 as a polytechnical museum. In 1936, the collection of archaeological finds, sent by the expedition of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, replenished the museum's funds. Visit to the regional mosque - a cultural and scientific center, located in the ethnographic park named after the 10th anniversary of Independence.
Visit to the Miners' Palace of Culture, located on Bukhar-Zhyrau Avenue. The construction of this majestic palace began in 1940. On the pediment of this building there are six sculptures: a miner, a builder, a shepherd with a lamb, a collective farmer with a sheaf of wheat, an akyn with dombra and a warrior.
Here is a visit to the monument Miner's Glory. Visit to the Ecological Museum, this is the only museum of its kind, its opening was in 1995. A visit to the Cathedral of the Entry into the Church of the Most Holy Theotokos, the construction of this temple began in 1991 and ended in 2000.

Transfer: Karaganda - settlement Aktas - settlement Dubovka - settlement Dolinka (37 km). Arrival in the village of Dolinka, visiting the museum in memory of the victims of political repressions. Return to Karaganda. Transfer to hotel, dinner, overnight.

After lunch, visit the Museum of Nature in the Tasbulak tract (3 km), in the vicinity of the museum, bison live and breed in natural conditions, which were brought in the early 2000s from Belovezhskaya Pushcha in Belarus. In 2003, in early June, one of the female bison brought the first offspring - it turned out to be a small bison named Karkusha. More than 30 individuals of deer live here. More than 30 dozen marmots graze on the grass near the observation area.
Transfer: museum of nature - Pashennoye lake (14 km). Walk in the vicinity of lake Pashennoe. In the vicinity of the lake, 3 kilometers away, is the highest mountain of the Karkaraly Mountains - the Zhirensakal (Komsomolsky) peak, 1403 meters above sea level. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
Breakfast. Today we have a trip to the lake and to the Komissarovskoye tract. Next, a trip to the Kent Mountains, one of the picturesque and historical places of the Karkaraly Mountains.
Transfer: Karkaralinsk - Bolshoye lake - lake and tract Komissarovskoye (20 km). In the Karkaraly mountains, in the vicinity of a small village, there is a lake and the Komissarovskoye tract. The lake against the backdrop of the Karkaraly Mountains and Komsomolsky Peak, 1403 meters above sea level, looks very picturesque.
The lake is 410 meters long and 266 meters wide. The western part of the lake is swampy, a small stream flows out of it. Numerous rest houses are located in the northern, northeastern and northwestern parts of the lake. On the eastern shore of the lake there is a forester's house, built in 1910-1913. Walk around.
Transfer: Komissarovskoye tract - Borlybulak village - Karagaly village - Kent village - Kent mountains (43 km). In the area of the Kent Mountains are the ruins of the mysterious Kyzylkenish Palace. According to one of the assumptions, there are the ruins of a monastery where Buddhist monks lived in the 16th century. Visit to the Kyzylkenish Palace, archaeological excavations, walks in the surroundings. Lunch on the way. Return to Karkaralinsk (41 km), dinner, overnight.
Breakfast. Transfer: Karkaralinsk - holiday home Sosnovy Bor (6 km). Walking distance from the rest house to the pool lake (2 km). Lake Basin is the bottom of the most beautiful places in the Karkaraly Mountains. The lake is 61 meters long and 20 meters wide.
The path to the lake lies along a simple path, and only in front of the lake you need to go through the gentle rocks. An amazing creation of nature, located high in the mountains and is a natural granite pool of surprisingly regular rectangular shape filled with water and picturesquely located in a necklace of rocks among forests.
From the height of the lake, a panorama of the surrounding mountains opens up. Return to Karkaralinsk, lunch.
After lunch transfer: Karkaralinsk - rest house Berloga (3 km). Hike from the rest house to the lake Shaitankol (4 km). Lake Shaitankol is an amazing creation of nature, small in size, only 60 meters long and 40 meters wide. Return to Karkaralinsk, dinner, overnight.
Breakfast. Transfer: Karkaralinsk - Karaganda (225 km). Arrival in Karaganda, lunch in a cafe. After lunch transfer to Astana (214 km). Arrival in Astana, transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner and overnight
Breakfast. Excursion around Astana. Visit to Khazret Sultan Mosque. The mosque is located on the right bank of the Ishim River, not far from the American embassy, next to the Cossack Eli monument and adjacent to the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. The main mosque of Astana is built of white marble. The second largest mosque in Central Asia after the mosque in Turkmenistan "The Spirituality of Turkmenbashi".
The construction of the Khazret Sultan Cathedral Mosque began in Astana in June 2009. The building was built in a classical Islamic style with traditional Kazakh ornaments. The Khazret Sultan Mosque can accommodate 5,000 worshipers, on holidays - up to 10,000 people.
The Khazret Sultan Mosque has the largest dome in Kazakhstan with a height of 51 meters and a diameter at the base of the dome of 28.1 meters. The mosque also has eight small domes with diameters - 10.45 and 7.6 meters, and tops - 33.46 and 25.25 meters. In the corners of the mosque there are 4 minarets 77 meters high.
After the end of the tour in the mosque, transfer to the shopping and entertainment complex - "Khan Shatyr". From here, our tour of Nurly Zhol Boulevard will begin. So, behind us is the Khan-Shatyr complex, designed by the English architect Norman Foster. Lunch at a local cafe.
We go further, through the Gashyktar park, through the arch of a popular administrative building with gilded glass to Nurly Zhol Boulevard, the Water-Green Boulevard residential complex, the buildings of the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy OJSC (nicknamed "Lighter"), business center " Emerald Quarter”, “Northern Lights” residential complex, “Astana-Baiterek” monument.
The height of "Astana-Baiterek" is 105 meters, the diameter of the ball is 22 meters. Inside the ball there is a bar and a panoramic hall. Dalek House of Ministries, the building of the Government of Kazakhstan, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The boulevard ends with the residence of the president "Ak Orda". End of the tour, free time. Dinner, overnight.
