Kroshka Peak is a mountain peak located at an altitude of 3740 meters above sea level in the Trans-Ili Alatau Mountains, despite its modest name, it is a real challenge for climbers and mountain travel enthusiasts. The peak is rarely visited, the ascent to the peak begins from the Big Almaty Lake area from the road that connects the Tien Shan Astronomical Observatory with the Cosmostation, which is located on the Dzhusaly-Kezen Pass. The ascent to the top and descent will take you one day if you start your hike from the lake. It is possible to climb to the lake by car. From the top of the peak, a beautiful mountain panorama opens up, you will see: Ozerny Peak, Sovetov Peak, Turan Peak (Institute of Nuclear Physics), Molodaya Gvardiya Peak, Ozernoye Gorge, Skalisty Peak, Almaty-Alagir Peak and Big Almaty Lake.

It is also imperative to use the services of mountain guides who will instruct you, prepare you for the hike and safely lead you along the route.
